Salmon For Soldiers

Everett Marina, Washington - August 29, 2015

This is the third annual event to honor wounded veterans.  Veterans team up with volunteers and boat captains (many of whom are veterans themselves) to spend the day fishing out of Everett, Washington.   Afterward, all pre-registered participants are invited to a barbecue and raffle drawings.  Salmon for Soldiers is a non-profit organization and run entirely by volunteers with a collection of sponsors to off-set operating costs.  Check out the link below to learn more about the event and sponsors supporting the event.

Although the weather this year was severe enough to cancel the fishing portion of the event, spirits were still high as all attendees took part in the remaining festivites, which were a big hit.
